A Summery The First Day Back at College

My experience of the first day.
coming into college on Monday was strange in some ways I knew it was going to be different obviously due to the Corona but that wasn't the only reason why the first day back to college deviated compared to every other day last year. The main difference came In the form of students and what I mean by that is there was so many of them especially singer Jesus there were a lot of singers. I Guess since September 2019 music has suddenly grown in popularity the after sitting down we got introduced by Nick and Phil who explained how everything will be working around the college for the foreseeable future after the longest register ever know to mankind it was time to get the bands together starting with the drummers obviously and then selecting singers, guitarists, pianists and other people with musical talent to create six different bands, My band consisted of five other people two of which I was already familiar with and the other three where new the band consisted of three singers a rapper, guitarist and a drummer.
Planning the songs we picked.
After two hours of lessons and getting introduced to the band we had a hour to select some songs to learn over the week and to obviously get to know the band after some time we had gathered a group of songs Mainly pop, drum and bass and hip-hop orientated these songs were ceiling can't hold us by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Love the way you lie by Eminem and a Bille Jean cover by Eden naturally we picked these songs cause of our familiarity with them and due to the diverse nature of the band we needed a song to cater to each band members needs.
How I will practice the song.
Fortunately we have three lessons to practice the song this week and since I have my drum kit I can practice these song though not to any backing tracks after studying enough I'll have good idea of the certain parts of the songs I'll need to practice like Drum rolls, playing a higher tempos and basically practising the genes in general.
