I have been tasked with analysing listening skills and discuss their importance in the music industry.

The importance of developing listening skills.

Listening skills are heavily relied on in the music industry especially when it comes to analysing music whether it's your own music or someone else's knowing how to correctly analyze the structure of a piece of music is critical to the succession of displaying what type of song you are aiming to make and can become great skill when becoming a member of a band, a music critique and a music teacher.

Examples of listening skills.

some examples of when listening skills are when making a song naturally knowing when a singer of guitarist are not in key pointing this out to them saves themselves the embarrassment of playing the song wrong onstage or while recording, obviously listening skills ain't just about keeping in key or in tune naturally having a eye or ear for timings can help while writing a song or criticizing one say when a drummer is just out of time with every other aspect of a song, hearing this can allow the drummer to speed up the beat to make the song just right.

Analyse the different components in the song making judgment and the intentions of the songwriter.

So the song begins with the guitar the songwriter uses a effect in the immediate thirty seconds of the song which is recording the audio of the drums from another room which ends transitioning to a more natural drum sound followed by the the bass which effectively begins the song starting the rhythm, using vocal recordings to add apon the music and effectively eco over the drums, bass and guitar making a nice layer of work to the song which makes me think this song was made as a ideal tune to express hard work and long hours to achieve a goal. Continuing the expression & rhythm of singing around the music echoing the message of the song that can't exactly be heard but get loader every time and grows stronger as the song goes on which leads eventually at the end of the song the vocals crying out and becoming the end of the song managing to become a consistent vocal Structure or form. Building upon the theme of hard work I believe that it fits well overall with the music video and music itself, Since the music video goes through many clips of musicians going through the stages of hard work and I reckon it makes the song have a lot more dynamic.
