Planning aspects of the Induction Project band identity.

The Band Identity Discussion. The discussion about style stemmed yesterday and grew quite big we discussed what exactly we had in common like favourite genre, idol or song but we didn't exactly have a common interest so liv came up with the idea to dress up how we wanted but wear one similar piece of clothing that we should have in common.

Band Identity. So as far as band identity goes we have decided to dress however we want to display ourselves as individual characters but have on thing in common and that will be to wear one peace of black clothing to show that though we may be different we have one thing that connects us and that isn't so dissimilar. Stage Movement. Since the songs songs can be considered upbeat we need people moving so with the selection of songs we have mainly billie jean and can't hold us these songs will naturally get people moving because of their popularity and billie jeans simplicity will certainly help the audience move around.

As for the band we have not exactly discussed stage movement but naturally Josh pointed out some strategies they could use to give a bit more personality to the band but other than that not much has been said but personally I have a plan though I am a drummer and won't exactly be moving around I'm intent on sort of naturally dancing and bobbing my head to the rhythm to at least give some motive to the audience but other than that we have't exactly planned much in the way of stage movement.

Stage Movement research. Naturally while listening to the songs I have decided to watch live performances of them to see how exactly I'll execute presenting myself during the performance fashion wise and movement wise.

Independent Rehearsal/Practice I have got time to listen to the songs and play them in my spare time I'm using my computer to listen to the songs, study them to the point where I know them like the back of my hand. On the other Side of the spectrum I'm using my drum kit to practise these song along a backing track to help increase my knoll age of what I'm capable of doing during the son and weather it is appropriate to execute the thing during the final performance.
