FMP Development Log Week 3

Monday - Producing and Covering songs.

Basically Monday consisted of rehearsing the songs we had picked (Crown, Samantha, PNE, crazy in love and peaches) and then we used that to produce the original songs that'd fit our growing set list and though we made some good progress on these originals we never named them, maybe we will later in the week but until then I'll refer to them as Original one and Original two.

Original one (Toby's song)

First after rehearsing our ever growing set list we started to discuss the percental of having one or more originals in our setlist after briefly talking about it we began to brainstorm and plan the original with Toby leading the charge talking about a guitar part he made up.

The guitar baring similarities instrumentally to the song 'just the two of us' this song also being played by another band I made the comparison and claimed that the guitar wasn't original as a joke but after Toby implemented his lyrics over the song and after producing some bass, and drums to add to the song it did come apparent that the song wasn't intended to be a copy of just the two of us.

Tuesday - Making 'Waking up'

After experiencing the pride of making a original successfully we went over our set list and decided to add another original to it, since Amie had already been writing some music like toby we already had some piano ready made for the production of this song, adding some drums to the song is still a working progress since I'm not confident with the song I'm not too sure what it is but when it comes to these originals I don't want to overplay them but I also don't know how to play them effectively

Wednesday - Developing a setlist

Today we came to the point where working on the songs has become a task instead of a leisure so thinking of the FMP performance we are planning ahead we were decided to get working on a effective setlist keeping in mind how long we need to be on stage for and what songs we would play so far our setlist consists of the songs in the following order we decided to order the setlist in order of when we learned them
