Ok so friday I was given a task to review one of ED2's band performance very much alike my review of the induction showcase performance for ED1 i will be reviewing all 3 songs that pod 3 performed .
The first song.
The song itself though i'm not familiar with it the genre I am all to familiar with giving off a punk vibe, taking into consideration the fact I don't actually know the original song the fact the band members didn't make any obvious mistakes I can say as a outsider this song was performed well, stage movement was good though all band members weren't moving the since the song was played so well I can look past the lack of stage movement. The style is consistent with the first song I do think the band was more focused on producing a better song overall than worrying too much about style but still this doesn't affect the performance at all and no mistakes were made to what I know all instruments were played well.
The second song.
Since I know this song this will be easy to review and my knowledge of the song will be useful when pointing out mistakes. overall the band made no critical mistakes the only mistake that is really noticeable is the towards the end of the song the drummer builds up a roll and foiled the roll towards the end of the build up but this isn't a critical hit to the song especially since the drummer managed to themself backup and continue the song as if nothing had happened making the performance look more natural. the stage movement overall was good both guitarists make a attempt to move around and do it well though it wasn't the most energetic stage movement ever it is better than nothing and finally overall the style work with this song and is consistent with the vibe the band have been emitting throughout all the performance and fit well with all day and all of the night.
The third and final song.
Like the first song I am not exactly familiar with the song though I can say this song represents a good performance no mistakes were made obvious, stage movement was at its peak and the energy the band emitted was absolutely electric.
