Introduction.
__________________________________________________________________________________
This FMP me and the band were told to provide a 30 minute setlist in preparation for this evaluation and more importantly the upcoming Bullingdon gig on the 27th of June, with this evaluation I'll be going over the my performance for this FMP performed and recorded at college on the 25th of May 2021.
I'll discuss all the songs performed from our set including Crown, PNE, Peaches, Come together , Made to fall in love, Waking up, and a Untitled original I'll talk about my performance and the bands overall performance and disclose what was good, bad and what I'll take from this FMP performance to improve my performance and presence as a musician.

Rule 5ive stage planning.
__________________________________________________________________________________
Stage wear.
The plan for the FMP performance was to all wear black shirts followed by casual clothing this idea came as a general agreement between the band as we didn't need to overdress for the songs we would be performing and we seemed to be able to work better when not being constricted by any uniform keeping us from overthinking the performance and allowing it to feel like any other gig.
Stage presence.
The aim with the stage presence wasn't to be contradicting the music we were playing the overall plan was to perform as a clam as possible not overflowing the audience with unneeded energy when it wasn't needed for songs like crown, made to fall in love, waking up and Toby' original we would aim to approach the songs with a calm presence then for the songs with more volume we would go with a more energetic presence.

FMP Performance Evaluation.
__________________________________________________________________________________
What I'm doing.
This evaluation I'll be assessing and discussing my thoughts on the performance and though I'm mainly going to talk about my side of the performance I will also bring up the other members performance to explain the situation of certain points of the song to help explain what It's effect on my performance.
Footage
The performance.
Come together.
The opening to the song was good instrumentally timing was perfect usually in rehearsals I'd speed up when doing the come together drum roll since the roll needs to be clean and precise I'd confuse myself into speeding up when doing it cause I'd overthink the drum roll.

I did make a few mistakes where I'd place crash symbols in places where they didn't need to be this wasn't really a problem but after slipping up early in the song with the symbol I decided to play it off by always coming around to use the symbol again to provide consistency, the end could have been better I ended on a open hi-hat were I should have probably ended with a symbol but other than that I managed to stay in time while doing my drum rolls a problem I had in rehearsals.
Made to fall in love.
The opening to the song could have been better I counted in for a bit too long I really should have counted the first four and left the rest of the band to make the music play, some drum rolls where awfully done and it should have been rehearsed better in the pod but other than the poor drum rolls the I stuck to a consistent flow.
Toby's Original.
The opening for the song is good though I think I should have came into the music with a drum roll but throughout the song the drums could have been a bit more consistent It's like I cycle round three different playstyles randomly but this is actually how we rehearsed the song but looking at it from a different perspective as if I were listening to the song for the first time it only seems to look inconstant so I might need to rewrite the drums if we ever replay the song.

Peaches.
The opening to the song is nice my use of the ride slowly builds up the songs chorus, my use of crash symbols stays in time and goes well when transitioning through each part of the song the vocals and other instrumentation are great work really well with each other and this helps the song flow nicely.
Crown.
The opening to the song is nice like peaches I use the symbols to throughout the song I do use the symbols too much I get caught in the moment and overuse them but throughout the song I remain consistent with the main beat and it plays well with toby's rap especially when I stop in between his vocals drawing attention to what he is saying.
Amie's Original.
This song overall couldn't have gone better Instrumentally, vocally even the stage presence between me and toby improved I was moving around looking energetic and the communication between the band was really good especially during the build up the band all came back into the chorus after the bridge in perfect harmony.

PNE.
The most energetic performance of the entire gig and a fitting song to end on the drums, vocals, bass, guitar and keys were all in harmony through out the song nothing was overplayed maybe there was one to many drum rolls but other than that PNE was a very engaging song that go the audience cheering especially and that cheering had absolutely nothing to do with me taking my shirt off at all, the stage movement was on point it really did improve the performance for everyone.
