The process.
Getting to know this song is a fast process since i'm already familiar with it thanks to learning it through the trinity college music drumming grade two book, this was a song i'd go over as a warm up before learning my grade 3, 4 and 5 songs so playing this song and rehearsing it shouldn't be difficult at all but this does depend on if lockdown goes as planned otherwise i'll have to improvise when it comes to my rehearsal techniques during lockdown since I don't have a kit at home.
Here is a video I made explaining the process https://drive.google.com/file/d/161hDPZiy8dmOu1YmYCsOi90EoKjW_zr4/view?usp=sharing
Rehearsing
The youtube link below is in this songs case what i'll refer to when rehearsing this particular song using logic to imitate my performance on drums since i don't have access to my kit this is the perfect retreat to display my skills. While playing this song i'll be typing the drums into logic to imitate the original song while also using the tools on logic to make the drums sound just perfect when it comes to displaying how exactly I plan to rehearse.
My drum recording.
I executed this recording via logic where I programmed the drums while going over the song after programming to make sure I got the drums right also I had to research the tempo and time signature to correctly execute a nice imitation of the drums form the original song.
