80 Person Capacity Brief

I’d like to hire a pa system and sound engineer/s for a Fashion event. The venue capacity is 80 and whilst images of Models are displayed on a projector there will be a live band performing consisting of a drummer, bassist, 2 guitarists, keyboardist and 2 vocalists.

What size pa should be hired?

HH S2-210 Portable PA System With Detachable Mixer 10″, 400W seems to be a affordable and decent PA to own for small bands and decently sized gigs.

How many monitors would be required?

You will need a monitor for each band member so they can hear what they are playing, so you will need a foldback speaker for the drummer,a bass amp for the bassist, two electric guitar amps for the two guitarists and a foldback speaker each for the vocalists.

Does there need to be a F.O.H and Monitor Mix Engineer?

You don't need to particularly have both just go with a monitor engineer who can set the basics of the front of house while they focus on what the band can hear for the sake of performance.

How many mics/stands would be required?

You will need 8 mics and stands to collect all the of the performance audio and one for the sound engineer.

I’d like to hire a pa system and sound engineer/s for a prestigious Fashion event. The venue capacity is 500 and whilst Models display clothing on the catwalk there will be a live band performing consisting of a drummer, bassist, 2 guitarists, keyboardist and 2 vocalists.

What size pa should be hired?

Bose L1 Compact system seems to be the best quality pa to use so I suggest buying this for the best quality audio for this gig.

How many monitors would be required?

You will need a monitor for each band member so they can hear what they are playing, so you will need a foldback speaker for the drummer,a bass amp for the bassist, two electric guitar amps for the two guitarists and a foldback speaker each for the vocalists.
