Problem solving 30 Minute Set/single Show Brief.

Hi I’d like to hire a function band for a prestigious Fashion Show. The band have to be versatile enough to perform multiple genres and demonstrate a great sense of style. The musicians need to be fully available at short notice, have their own equipment and be competent and reliable. My preferred band line up would consist of a drummer, bassist, 2 guitarists, keyboardist and 2 vocalists. Audition Venue/Date/Times I have hired Oxford Institute of Music to host formal auditions and will be inviting those bands who pass our screening process (set out below) to perform 3 songs that demonstrate their musical competence, attention to detail, sense of style and appropriate movement to engage audiences. Please could you confirm the following details to formally apply for the audition and provide clarification of your service and cost implications: Audition Application Requirements Our band consists of: 1 Grade five drummer

3 Experienced singers (multi instrumentalists who can play keys)

2 Guitarists.

Our variety Our band a versed in many genres Rock and roll, Jazz, funk,pop,rock heavy metal and blues.

how we organise our setlists

we have organise our setlist in order of when we learn them or spaninning from our worst to best but we can play in any order if necessary.

Public Liability. We don't have our own PA system or a public liability licence at the time of writing this though getting one doesn't take long at all, so it will be possible to acquire one before this gig and we'll be eligible for being liable to any equipment we may damage or any injuries we may acquire during the gig.

Equipment PAT

Our amplifiers, keyboards and Sm57/Sm58 mics are not PAT tested though like our Public liability though not PAT tested all the equipment is efficient and the same with the Public Liability we can arrange getting all equipment PAT tested before the gig.

Our band will use our Instagram to promote the event leading up the the gig promoting the event updating our story, making posts and doing interactive lives talk with viewers bringing up the upcoming event.
