Introduction
When it comes to organizing the gigs a lot of preparation comes towards making the anticipated success of the gig so preparing the promotion, setlist, action plan, band plan and tech spec.

Event Name - Homecoming
Event theme.
As implied by the name the event is supposed to replicate a homecoming event the tradition commonly celebrated in America though acting very similar to a prom this homecoming event is utilised to directly celebrate a organization's existence which is exactly what we aim to do. Keeping in theme and in celebration of the music department of the Oxford city college all students performing will promote their gratitude towards the organisation that assisted their progression towards becoming the people they are now.

Equipment Importance.
The Foldback speakers are used to help the band receive feedback on what they are playing, the FOH speakers are to help the audience receive the dynamic sound produced by the performers, the SM58 mics are used to emit vocal audio to the audience, the SM57 mics are used to pick up tom toms, snare top, snare bottom, the dynamic mic is meant to pick up bass drum, the 2-3x overhead mics are meant to pick up crash, ride and hi hat, the Jack cables are supposed to help connect the audio devices to the sound board.
each piece of equipment is vital to help produce the right sound and overall outcome of good audio quality for all listeners at the gig so making sure they are all brought and are in working order will maintain hope for the gig.
Team meetings.
The whole music department is working on making the O2 work my role is a Marketing promotional material creator where I work on marketing strategies such as creating posters and band promotional social media posts, I've also had a side project where I've been creating band song videos to project behind the performers on the night of the O2.
The set times work according to everyone's needs helping band prepare and also fits into their set rehearsal time so there won't be any empty points throughout the event other than the break times we added on both nights.
