Project proposal, Band motivator.

Context.

Many goals have been achieved this term I improved a my familiarity with:

• Band co-operation.

• Marketing.

• Band planning.

• Organising Rehearsal time.

• Creating advertisement.

The main focus for this term is organising time with the band, assisting with advertising band for the 02 gig and mainly helping with songwriting as usual when producing new music I'm inventing new Ideas for dynamics for new songs to help produce diverse music to improve upon the standard the band has when making music.

I took inactive to make sure I would keep the band would keep on task and make sure we would stay on task for the coming weeks before the FMP just to guarantee the success of our performance at the O2 in terms of putting us in a Positive mindset and making sure we are confident in our abilities in performance leading up to the gig.

My role provides the band with a form of management to help us be more productive and influence us to put effort into the little things and hope that the stems into the band motivating themselves into helping with other projects like social media, marketing and preparing for the O2 hopefully I continue to be successful with this task.

Preparing and organising the band for the upcoming event Is a key part to providing satisfactory and continuous supply of evidence for my coursework and also help make the process of developing new material easier and to remove the stress of miscalculating how much time we need to rehearse for the gig.

Invoking a positive mindset in the band and keeping them on task will help provide the band with a fighting chance of making sure our songs are one hundred percent ready when it comes to us performing onstage in and out of rehearsals and gigs.

Research.

I'll try to utilise secondary research to back up my development and use online research to help with learning methods of planning for gigs in the music industry I'll also look towards my teacher for their assistance in learning how to be a effective leader in a group music learning environment I will learn:

• How to Lead and Manage a group.

• How to focus and remain productive.

• How to engage a group and Motivate.

• How to use my own time to be productive.

Secondary research.

Using the Library, the internet and my teachers to provide support in providing secondary research to my work.

Primary research.

After a while trying to become the leader of the moral of the band I'll learn may methods of motivating and providing goals for the band to overcome and write about what I learn in my work.

Problem Solving.

In Level two, Level three first year and this year in level three there have been many occurrences relating to lack of productivity and I have successfully been able to prevent bands from losing too much focus on work wether It was preventing members falling out in Saints of snow, Stoping two band members from allowing substance to effect productivity in Rule 5ive and stopping the other two from allowing their relationship effect work and finally allowing lockdown and depression to stop my own personal motivation towards my work I'm able to motivate productivity out of people who would rather focus on negative things though I don't expect similar problems I can use my experience to help prevent these sorts of things happening again.

Planning and Production. (Approx. 50 words)

I'm going to have band discussions to collect synchronising ideas for how the band wants to go about advertising the O2, how we want to go about utilising social media and posters and organise creating artistic themes for merchandise, Its important we do this to make sure the band is consistent in all areas of organisation to represent us well and make sure the gig isn't going to be underestimated in terms of preparation.

Practical Skills. (Approx. 100 words)

Working on fluent fills, volume dynamics and breakdowns is a key part of how I idealise demonstrating my skill at the O2 to personally practising to backing tracks and improvising to them in my spare time will help my form and how diverse i can be when trying to remain consistent with the play style and dynamics appropriate to the music being created by the band I don't want to over do things so I will need to work on these things when learned to a standard to perfect them.

I've used these skills before but not to the extent of using them when absolutely necessary I tend to overuse new and cool skills I've leaned wearing them out onstage and making them less unique.

Evaluation and Reflection.

The use of my research is to apply to my blog work documenting my work for further evaluation at the end of the year so when I'm done with a weeks work I write down what happened, what needs to be worked on and how to improve upon the learning process for the following week and also to reflect on what I've achieved.

This helps me prepare to write a evaluation for the FMP performance and provides me with a critical mindset on myself allowing me to be more productive and serious about my development as a musician and a band member in general.

Presentation.

I'm working on presenting band photos and how to utilise them for prepping the O2 for example 'Band photos present a audience with a idea of who the band are and what kind personality they have, this can be utilised for creating a brand and in many cases the band photo helps the band come up with a Logo, a Band name and Song names if these things weren't previously established' talking about these subjects will be informative in the presentation and should explain why we are using our band photos.
